Overview
The Carbon Plus rib vest features a composite fiberglass shell with multiple layers to prevent spread of sudden impacts. At the same time, this shell is lightweight and does not compromise the driver’s ability to move freely and drive at their maximum.
Within the vest a re-designed foam padding provides further driver protection, at more than 5mm thick the padding is shown to absorb 90% of the energy in high-speed impacts.
On the rear of the best, Texton 480 weave covers a foam pad to protect the rear of the driver’s spine and chest, holding the vest together. A re-designed front velcro adjustment and security strap ensures proper fitment for each driver.
